Summary
InsulinResistance.org is a public information site. We do not collect health information. We do not sell or share personal data. We use minimal analytics to understand which pages are being read.
Information we collect
Server logs
Like most websites, we log basic technical information about visits: IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp. Logs are used to keep the site running, investigate abuse, and understand aggregate usage patterns.
Analytics
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that reports aggregate page-view counts without setting long-lived tracking cookies. We do not use analytics tools that build cross-site advertising profiles.
If you email us at info@pacshores.co, we retain the message so we can respond. We do not add email addresses to marketing lists.
What we do not do

- Accept sponsored content or affiliate placements
- Collect health information from readers
Cookies
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies we do set are strictly functional (for example, remembering a user's dark-mode preference) and expire when your browser session ends or after a short period.
Third-party links
Research pages link to external sources including PubMed, journal publisher sites, and government health agencies. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We do not control what they collect.
Children
The site is intended for adult readers, patients, clinicians, and researchers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
